New Year's concert announced for Mount Maunganui

Bay Dreams have released their first line-up, for their return to Mount Maunganui on January 2, 2017.

Sticky Fingers, US hip-hop acts Grandmaster Flash and Bizzy Bone, and Katchafire, Kora, Concord Dawn and Home Brew are set to play as ASB Bay Park Stadium.

Several large acts will also be announced early September.

Sydney-based Sticky Fingers will feature as headlines, with Peking Duk, Kora and Katchafire also playing on the festival's main stage.

Grandmaster Flash and Bizzy Bone (of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony) have been added to the mix, as well as Skism B2B Must Die!, Habstrakt, Concord Dawn and State of Mind.

Additional artists: Eats Everything, Kölsch, Krafty Kuts, and Lunice, P-Money, Tom Francis, State of Mind, Quix, Jimbob Hines & Big Q, Chores, Mitch James and Times X Two.

There will be a warm-up party in the indoor arena on January 1.

Also good news for those planning on settling in - there will be onsite camping for two nights from January 1st.
