Plenty to satisfy bassheads in Northern Bass first annoucement

The Northern Bass music festival has just dropped their first artist announcement and there's plenty for bassheads to get excited about.

Headlining the announce is formidable UK DJ duo Chase & Status, who will be bringing MC Rage with them.

Other picks include UK drum n' bass pioneer Dbridge, Scottish producer/DJ Hudson Mohawke who is signed to Kanye West's GOOD music label, and Dutch electronic music trio Noisia.

On the local front there's also much to look forward to. Pitch Black are always guaranteed to bring it and ex-Shapeshifter Devin Abrams' outfit Pacific Heights are also worthy of your time.

The festival is held at Worsfolds Farm, Mangawhai, and runs over three days in the lead up to New Years Eve. The party starts on December 29 and rings in 2017 on the 31st.
