Hollywood is now officially out of ideas following news that a movie is being worked on based on the dating app, Tinder.

Variety reports that Warner Bros is developing the movie titled Worst Tinder Date Ever as a romantic comedy from the writers of Think Like a Man and Friends with Benefits.

The movie will be based in Los Angeles and focus on people who go on a Tinder date that generates several disasters.

The location-based dating and hook-up app was launched in 2012 and by 2014 it was registering about one billion "swipes" per day, in which the user uses a swiping motion to choose if they are interested in the profile on screen.

With movie studios making films out of apps like Angry Birds and toys like Lego, it seems only a matter of time before Pokemon Go hits cinemas.
