The Bachelor NZ will take up the dating game again since dumping winner Fleur Verhoeven, after being bought at a charity auction.
Jordan Mauger was a special guest at the High School Old Boys' Rugby Football Club's annual Ladies Night and Bachelor Auction on July 2.
He was bought for $550 by a woman who was there to help the DJ set up.
Because he had to leave early, Mauger took the woman's details and promised to take her out for lunch in his DeLorean car that featured in The Bachelor NZ.
Club captain Alex Newfield said one of the eight rugby players to be auctioned off pulled out and Mauger, who is friends with some of the senior club players, stepped in.
"When he got up on the stage the crowd was pretty excited."
Another star of the night was 'the other Jordan', who says he was seeing The Bachelor NZ runner-up, Naz Khanjani, for about four months before the show.
Khanjani has denied she was dating Jordan Reid. Reid sold for about $250, and even had a beer with Mauger at the auction.
More than $2000 was raised for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation at the event.
