'Again?!' Emilia Clarke's parents react to Game of Thrones nude scene

Actress Emilia Clarke "regretted" making her parents watch her much-talked about nude scene on this season's Game of Thrones.

The star walked through fire naked in the gripping scene, which aired in America earlier this month.

It marked the first time she had stripped for the cameras since 2013, and she urged her parents to watch the episode because it was such a pivotal moment in the show, as her character, Daenerys Targaryen, emerged from capture.

"So my parents were like, 'We're watching the show, but darling you're not doing much this season," she said on Live with Kelly on Monday.

"They're like, 'You know, you're kind of stark', and I was like, 'Watch this one', and I was like, 'Are you guys watching the show tonight?' and they're like, 'Yeah, maybe we might just get it on HBO Go or something, and I'm like, 'No,no, no, watch tonight, watch that one'.

"And they were trying to get the spoilers out of me and it didn't work. But I ended up sitting them down and being like, 'Let's watch it', and instantly regretting it. My dad's like, 'Again!"'

Despite her parents' reaction to the scene, Emilia has no qualms about stripping for the role."I'd like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was (in) season three (in 2013)," she told Entertainment Weekly.

"That was a while ago. It's now season six. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I'm just feeling genuinely happy I said 'Yes'. That ain't no body double!

"Taking off my clothes is not the easiest thing, but with the magic of the effects, I don't have to do a season one and go on a cliff and do it," she added. "I'm in control of it."
