As Fleur Verhoeven struggles to come to terms with her recent public break up, it seems history is repeating for the 26-year-old.
Earlier this year, Verhoeven blogged about another break up, writing: "When a guy tells you he's actually not that keen on anything serious after telling you he loves you ... you do not, I repeat DO NOT say 'It's ok, I understand'!"
It's easy to see the parallels between the post and Verhoeven's current situation, but it appears she may have gone through all this before.
The post was published on Verhoeven's personal blog lifeasfleur.com earlier this year on January 22, before The Bachelor's premiere on March 7.
In the full post she wrote:
"As it turns out, it's not selfish to think about yourself instead of always putting others first (who would have known, right!?). Also, when a guy tells you he's actually not that keen on anything serious after telling you he loves you and traveling over 3000km's to see him, you run and go shopping, possibly slap him in the face, take his money and buy yourself some nice shoes. You do not, I repeat DO NOT say 'It's ok, I understand'! Oh and if he's still in love with his ex... you stay away. Just don't even go there... for GOD'S SAKE FLEUR! Where's the self-respect, right?!"
It is unclear as to whether Verhoeven could be talking about Mauger in her blog, but it seems more likely that it was about a past experience.
Hopefully, the rest of the year will get better for the unlucky in love Bachelorette.

Yesterday Mauger commented on his decision to ditch Verhoeven saying:
"For the last seven weeks, Fleur and myself shared concerns and doubts over that time. Hoping that feelings would reignite again. With contributing factors like distance, media, remaining episodes, secrecy, it made it very difficult.
"After a long absence and only seeing her for the first time onstage, I knew something was amiss. After an exhausting schedule of media commitments and the dust settled, I knew I was being dishonest to Fleur and myself."
It was revealed that Mauger had dumped Verhoeven after he skipped out on an interview with Story, leaving the broken-hearted Bachelorette to explain that: "Jordan came to visit me and he pretty much explained how he is feeling and that he has decided that his feelings aren't mutual. He has decided he wants to leave it."
