Edward Snowden has released his own music video for a techno song called Exit, and it is peak Snowden.
The track, made by French composer and producer Jean Michel Jarre is actually quite cool, with a quick beat and some cool 80s sci-fi synths.
But that's beside the point.

The accompanying video is exactly what you expect it to be like - sharply cut together montages of satellite video, security footage, news headlines, computer screens, coding, and random machinery.
And part way through, the tempo drops out to make room for Snowden to spread his message "if you don't stand up for it [your right to privacy], then who will?".
The same line then loops to become part of the track which boots back up with heavy bass and what sounds like the opening scene of an 80s crime drama.
