NZME radio has dominated the latest radio survey results, claiming the top spot in news, sport and entertainment.
Newstalk ZB remains the overall most listened to station, while Coast has reclaimed the number one spot for entertainment listening, ahead of The Edge network.
The survey shows more Kiwis are listening to commercial radio, with an increase of 240,000 listeners tuning in across New Zealand.
Mike Hosking remains king of breakfast radio, growing his audience by more than 10,000 to 265,000 listeners. By comparison, rival Paul Henry's audience grew by 4,000 listeners to 112,000, less than half that of Hosking.
"It's been a great day," said NZME group director of entertainment Dean Buchanan. "To be number one in news, sport and entertainment is hugely rewarding."
Buchanan also pointed to the network's digital growth, with more than 457,000 registered users on iHeartRadio, which broadcasts live radio as well as custom playlists.
Newstalk ZB is owned by NZME, which also owns and publishes The New Zealand Herald.
