Eagle-eyed music fans may have noticed there are two separate Block Parties happening in Auckland this month.
One, taking place on the waterfront, is home to a music line-up, some art displays, cypher battles, breakdancing, games, stalls and more.
The other, taking place at the ASB Showgrounds, is a hip-hop festival boasting a line-up for the ages.
The Queens Wharf Block Party is being touted as a "community extravaganza".
Its music line-up, made up of artists from Auckland and Wellington, includes Terracotta Cat, Bailey Wiley, Womb, Randa, and Trip Pony, as well as a special guest MC.
Exhibiting artists at the party include Lane Park, Sofia Drescher, Connie McDonald, Georgette Brown, Random, Erika Pearce, Jonny4Higher, Chris Hutchison and Courtney Fort Davis.
