Kiwi Hollywood star Karl Urban is already looking for his next project after Star Trek 3 premieres on July 22.

His reprisal as Bones on the Starship Enterprise is not the only repeat role on the actor's mind - he's keen on Judge Dredd making a comeback.

Since the 2012 film, fans have been vocal about their desire for a sequel, but a cult following does not guarantee success and it wasn't exactly box office gold. Urban, 43, loves his role as Dredd so much it is the profile picture on his Twitter account.

Last week, when a Twitter fan posted a flyer he created for a fictional Judge Dredd 2, complete with a Netflix 2 Original strapline, Urban got behind the call:

"Dredd 2: I'd do it !! @netflix or @Amazon. There's a gold mine of Awesome Mega City 1 stories!"

But life is not all about space or futuristic cops for Urban.

Last week he and girlfriend, actress Katee Sackhoff, 36, hit the road on Harley-Davidsons in Seattle as part of the Tulip Ride, where the couple were among other celebrities who rode the highway to help raise US$40,000 for animal charity Seattle Humane.
