Dave Franco could be the next Han Solo, however, the star revealed his audition for the upcoming Star Wars spinoff was a struggle.
The actor auditioned for the part of a young Han Solo for a Star Wars movie that will focus on past of the character, made iconic by actor Harrison Ford in the original film trilogy.
Talking to MTV News at this year's CinemaCon, Franco admitted he wasn't sure what the filmmakers were looking for when casting the role.
"I'm not good with impressions," Franco said, adding that he wasn't attempting to do a "Harrison thing."
"I think that's the reason it's so hard to cast this role, too. It's like, do they want to like perfectly embody who Harrison Ford is, or do they want to go a completely different route? Do they want someone to look really similar him? So, I don't know, I think they're struggling with that, maybe?"
The Bad Neighbours star also divulged that despite the upcoming film having a lot of buzz around it, he felt like his experience was like "most other auditions" and most of the pressure has come after the audition with people wanting to know who will eventually play Han Solo.

"Everyone's coming up and being like, 'Dude, what's going on?' And I'm like, 'I don't know. You know as much as me,'" he said. "I don't want to underplay it, like, I'm very flattered to have been or to be whatever, wherever they are in the conversation, but, like, it is what it is."
Actors Alden Ehrenreich, Jack Reynor, Taron Egerton and Emory Cohen have also been considered for the role according to reports.
The Han Solo Star Wars Anthology film is currently set for release in May 2018.
