US rapper Tyga has stirred controversy online after he was photographed sitting in a car with a friend brandishing a handgun.
The Rack City star had just left Hyde nightclub in Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday when he was snapped getting into the car with a group of friends.
Paparazzi shots show Tyga posing for a fan as he sat in the front passenger seat, with the MC looking worse for wear as he held up his gold chains for the cameras.
However, the seemingly innocent snaps soon hit headlines for all the wrong reasons as another passenger, in the back seat of the vehicle, could clearly be seen holding a silver firearm.
The man in the controversial images has yet to be identified. Tyga's girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, had also been out with the rapper, but wasn't in the car at the time of the incident.
Neither star has commented on the pictures, but it seems Tyga noticed the gun in the snaps as he reposted a cropped version of the image, cutting out the gun holder, on Instagram later on Saturday.
He simply captioned the shot, "Morning b****." Meanwhile, the presence of the gun wasn't the only reason Jenner and Tyga hit headlines over the weekend.
The couple was the subject of various racy videos Jenner posted on Snapchat.com of their night out, with one clip showing 26-year-old Tyga groping and kissing his 18-year-old girlfriend while at The Nice Guy nightclub earlier on Friday.
Another risque video featured her boyfriend lifting up her dress to expose her underwear.
Jenner and Tyga have been romantically linked since 2014, but they only went public with their relationship when Kim Kardashian's youngest sister turned 18 in August last year.
