The wild-haired Jon Snow will return for Game of Thrones season six, but not as fans might have hoped.
Actor Kit Harrington, 29, told TimeOut London he definitely will be in the up-coming series, albeit as a corpse.
Followers of the popular TV show were left hanging after a bloody season five finale where Snow, then Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, was stabbed repeatedly by his "brothers".
Harrington kept a sense of humour calling the new scenes, where he plays a dead body, "some of my best work".
Though he was sure to add his role did not go beyond imitating a lifeless body.
"Look, I'm not in the show any more," Harrington told TimeOut. "I'm definitely not in the new series. I filmed some scenes of me being dead."
He wasn't giving up any other plot spoilers, even keeping mum on how long he would be sticking around.
"I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"

Fans have been ever hopeful since those final shots of Snow lying glassy-eyed and covered in blood.
Producers teased he may live, with a poster for season six featuring Snow alive, with a blood spattered face.
He has also appeared on a poster as a cameo in the hall of faces.
Others believed he may be brought back to life by robed Red Woman Melisandre, who rode to the wall, shortly after he fell.
