Past and present members of rockers Guns N' Roses have been told to stop chatting about a rumoured classic line-up reunion.
News of a planned get together featuring Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and others leaked in December and a Coachella festival headlining performance has since been confirmed - but not by the band.
Rose was billed to make the big announcement last week on US late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but he mysteriously cancelled his appearance.
News outlets looking for more on the reunion story then started scrutinising social media posts from other members of Guns N' Roses.
Keyboard player Chris Pitman, who tweeted and then deleted, "We are playing at Coachella 2016, look out!"
Pitman has since addressed the ongoing wait for band confirmation of Coachella and a reported 25-date stadium tour in a series of now-deleted tweets.
In one, he wrote, "I was just informed by mgmt (management) to not acknowledge anything about coachella, gnr, etc. So there, denied!" He added.
"When I said, 'We are playing at Coachella', I meant me and my daughter like to play in the sand."
Pitman has been a member of Guns N' Roses since 1998.
