Laura McGoldrick bid an emotional farewell to her Hauraki co-hosts and listeners this morning, as she signed off for the last time.
The Hauraki breakfast host, who has shared the airwaves with Matt Heath and Jeremy Wells for two years, will not return next year as she moves to a new role within NZME.
McGoldrick will work across the wider NZME group as a presenter for radio, video and events.
Co-host Matt Heath said he was sorry to see her go, although wasn't surprised she was moving on.
"I've loved working with Lazza McGolders. She's a top broadcaster and a good mate. However, Jerry and I are bottom feeders and we were never going to keep her forever. The good news is we still get to hang out with her socially'. "
Jeremy Wells added: "I agree with Matt's sentiments although I'm told that Laura is contractually obliged to rise above our gutter talk and not hang with us socially."
Wells and Heath will continue to host the Hauraki Breakfast, which will return on January 18.
