A hot dance routine was not the only Jennifer Lopez show stopper at this year's
American Music Awards.
The 46-year-old pop singer wore ten custom-made outfits worth a total of NZD $116,000 to host the ceremony in Los Angeles.
During the three-hour event she worked her way through a series of quick changes, each ensemble seemingly more risque than the last.
She began the night in a skin-tight bodysuit by designer DSquared2 personalised with crystals for an energetic performance choreographed by Kiwi export Parris Goebel.
The dynamic New Zealand dancer called on some top talent from Auckland based Palace Dance Studio for the occasion.
They did not let her down putting on an incredible show opener that had everyone talking.
Goebel later recognised her team's talent and hard work in an Instagram post, calling them "My superstars".
She previously recognised Lopez as the person who gave her a leg up internationally. The pair have been working on projects together for the past three years.
J-Lo's final outfit of the evening was a NZD $6035 powder blue dress by Charbel Zoe with slashes down the side and across the mother-of-two's famous derriere.
In between came a collection of further eye-catching outfits, while her hair went from free flowing to tousled to ponytailed.
At one point she even gave the audience a glimpse of her mid costume change, in a dressing gown and with her hair wrapped under a towel.
