Rachel Hunter says she is "extremely disappointed" in Woman's Day, claiming an article in the current issue is very misleading.
Hunter, 46, who features on the cover of this week's issue, told fans on her official Facebook page yesterday she was never interviewed for the story.
"I never did an interview for this weeks Woman's Day Magazine," she wrote.
"The food and diet that is mentioned in the article are either quotes pulled from old interviews or not from me at all ... This Is very misleading. I'm extremely disappointed with Woman's Day."
The article claims the Kiwi supermodel gave up dairy products after a food-intolerance test revealed she was lactose intolerant, and reports she doesn't eat wheat, including bread and pasta.
However, Hunter said on Facebook she ate very differently now, after being inspired by what she learned on her television show, Tour of Beauty.
Tour of Beauty sees Hunter travel the globe to discover and learn more about beauty and health tips in different parts of the world.
Woman's Day also quoted Hunter as saying she doesn't drink after giving it up 11 years ago, but Hunter claims this is not true either.
"I do enjoy a glass of wine every now and then."
Woman's Day has yet to respond to the Herald's request for comment.
