Boxer Shane Cameron managed to cure his meat hands but failed to exude enough sex appeal to keep judge Candy Lane entertained.
The heavyweight boxer was eliminated last night after earning one of the lowest scores on Sunday night.
Early on in the competition, the judges criticised the boxer's "meat hands". But while Cameron soon won them over with his fancy footwork, he simply couldn't wipe the child-like grin off his face and deliver the sex appeal Lane and co. were looking for.
We spoke to Cameron as he hangs up his dancing shoes.
Were you expecting to go home this week? If not, who did you think would?
With a double elimination I knew there was a big chance that I could be going home.
What's been the hardest part about this experience?
Learning a new dance each week...from scratch! There was no real chance to celebrate Sunday night's performance because it was straight into learning a new dance the next morning.
Of all the judges' comments, was there anything that really stung? Why?
All of their comments went over my head so I can't actually remember what was said.
What was your favourite thing about being on the show?
The challenge and meeting and becoming friends with people from all different walks of life that I wouldn't normally come across - actors, dancers, models, politicians, radio hosts...
And least favourite?
Just how much it consumed my life - it was pretty much 9-5 all week, and then all day Saturday and Sunday that I had to commit to. While I enjoyed the experience, it didn't leave room for much else.
Who are you picking to win?
Simon. He's proving to be the most popular.
Give us some behind the scenes goss?
Just how supportive everyone is of each other! In my sport, you're in a competition where you want to knock your opposition out! But with DWTS everyone is really cool! Always encouraging and always so happy to see you do well.
