If you found yourself reaching for the tissues during the closing credits of Fast & Furious 7, blame Wiz Khalifa.
His smash hit See You Again with Charlie Puth helped soundtrack the film's closing moments - an emotional farewell to the franchise's star Paul Walker, who died in a car crash on a break from filming.
On the back of Fast & Furious7's success, See You Again has been a huge hit, racking up No. 1 spots around the world and gaining nearly 600 million views on YouTube.
It's still sitting at No. 4 on the New Zealand charts this week.
Get ready to grab some tissues and cry again: Khalifa is returning to New Zealand for his biggest show here yet, with See You Again likely to be the highlight of the North Dakota rapper's stadium-sized show at Vector Arena on September 25.
Khalifa has come a long way since his last visit here as the headlining act for Rhythm & Vines in 2013: as well as See You Again, he released his fifth album Blacc Hollywood, a blockbuster set of guest-heavy songs including Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross, and released a joint EP with Ty Dolla $ign called Talk About It In The Morning. He also had a strain of weed, called Khalifa Kush, named after him.
Things haven't all been good: the heavily-tattooed rapper divorced model Amber Rose in early 2014, shortly after the couple's first child was born. They famously posed together, with a pregnant Rose wearing a white singlet and little else, on the cover of XXL magazine.
Tickets for Khalifa's show go on sale on July 7 through Ticketmaster. Pre-sales begin on July 1.
