Miley Cyrus has sparked new concern among her fans after a picture of the star sitting opposite what appears to be a table strewn with drug paraphernalia was published.
The shocking snap has been obtained by the The Sun and features the onesie-clad pop star relaxing on a sofa with a laptop on her knees.
In front of her is a table covered in what looks like cannabis, a packet of cigarette papers, a rolled up dollar bill and a vial of white powder.
The image is said to have been taken by a 'witness' who partied alongside the singer during a recording session in Los Angeles on November 26.
During the same week the alleged incident occurred, the We Can't Stop singer posted a series of snaps while working on new music in the studio and at home.
One picture she shared on Instagram showed her sitting at a desk puffing on what appeared to be a suspicious looking roll-up.
Last year, the chart topping singer reportedly tried New Zealand marijuana following her Auckland show at Vector Arena, with a fellow party-goer reporting she "loved the New Zealand weed".

The 22-year-old, who shot to fame as Disney sensation Hannah Montana, has pulled out all the stops to move on from her child star past.
In August, 2013 she returned to the scene under her new guise and hit the headlines after cavorting with older singer Robin Thicke on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
She has since courted controversy by lighting up on-stage and boasting about her use of marijuana and other recreational drugs.
In a candid interview with Rolling Stone magazine, she said: 'Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And Molly (ecstasy), too. Those are happy drugs - social drugs.
'They make you want to be with friends. You're out in the open. You're not in a bathroom.'
