The names of some of the key characters in the forthcoming Star Wars film have been revealed.
But whether Poe Dameron, BB-8 and Kylo Ren become household names like Luke Skywalker, R2-D2 and Darth Vader remains to be seen.

The filmmakers unveiled the names of several characters by mocking up collectable cards reminiscent of ones which came out after the original 1977 film, Entertainment Weekly magazine reported.
The new film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will feature British actors Daisy Ridley, who will play a character called Rey, and John Boyega, who plays a stormtrooper called Finn.

Oscar Isaac is an X-Wing pilot called Poe Dameron, while a distinctly R2-D2-like robot will be called BB-8.
A sinister figure seen in the first trailer with a special multi-bladed Lightsaber is Kylo Ren. It is unclear which side he will fight on but it appears likely that he will be a baddie.
