Netflix has scheduled the return date for its award-winning drama series, House Of Cards.
The show, starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, will be back for a third season on February 27, 2015, it was announced through the show's official Twitter page with a short, slow motion video.
Since the Netflix series had already been nominated for a Producers Guild Award on the same morning, Monday was an excellent day for House Of Cards.
Although the show was renewed for season three before season two had even premiered in 2014, no specific date had been announced.
One of Netflix's biggest successes to date, House Of Cards follows the political career of Frank Underwood (Spacey) as he schemes his way to power in the United States government.
Wright co-stars as Claire Underwood, Frank's wife and co-conspirator in his attempted rise to the highest levels of power.
The series was developed by Beau Willimon, based on a British miniseries of the same name.
A hit almost immediately following its 2013 premiere, House Of Cards received nine Emmy nominations for season one.
It won three of them - for directing, casting, and cinematography.
For season two, House Of Cards received even more Emmy nominations, with 13 in total.
Over at the Golden Globes, Robin Wright won the award for Best Actress and thus became the first person to win for an Internet-only series.
The latest nomination, from the Producers Guild, placed House Of Cards up against the biggest drama shows of the past year.
Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Game Of Thrones and True Detective are the other nominees for the Best Drama PGA award.
