Summer tour announcements just keep on coming with another multi-band line-up announced today.
Billed as the "Clash of the Titans", Kiwi rock stalwarts Dragon, The Exponents, and The Feelers are facing off in a musical bout which will kick off on Friday December 26 at the Mangawhai Tavern.
They're then heading across the country on a classic rock pilgrimage, checking in at Butlers Reef Hotel, Oakura on Saturday December 27, Brewers Field. Mt Maunganui, on Monday December 29, Coroglen Tavern, Whitianga, on Tuesday December 30, Waihi Beach Hotel on Wednesday December 31, Station Village Complex, Lower Hutt, on Friday January 2, Riwaka Hotel, Motueka, on Saturday January 3, and Waipara Hills Winery in Glasnevin on Sunday January 4.
Who will be the last band standing? Well that will probably have something to do with who can abstain from the cider for the longest, but whatever the result, you know they'll all be bringing out their big hits to keep the punters dancing.
A toss of a coin at each venue will determine the playing order of these three mighty acts, and it'll be Are You Old Enough? vs Who Loves Who The Most?, Fishing For Lisa vs Victoria, Erotic vs Venus all night long.
Tickets on sale from Ticketmaster, 9am on Monday October 20, 2014.
And in case you missed it earlier in the week, the annual Winery Tour has also been announced for 2015 with a line-up that brings together Supergroove, Dave Dobbyn, Don McGlashan, and Anika Moa.
