For a woman who can post up to three selfies an hour, Rihanna's outdone herself by digging up her very first.
The Barbadian songstress took the picture of herself at 17, as she was emerging on the pop music scene with her catchy hit, Pon de Replay.
And while she's since followed it up with hundreds of self portraits, RiRi must've been feeling nostalgic when she tweeted the original on Monday.
In it, she looks much older than a teenager, with long wavy hair, heavy eye make-up and a skimpy pink dress.
"When I was 17, I took my first selfie! #RihannaBETAwards," she captioned the tweet.Nine years later, and plenty of practice under her belt, it's perhaps surprising the pop singer hasn't developed a bad case of RSI.
But her prolific photography habits haven't been without scandal.
Earlier this year the Umbrella singer deleted her "badgalriri" account from Instagram after being slapped with a temporary ban from the site for her skin-baring habits.
She never reactivated the account, instead favouring Twitter as her steadfast platform.
RiRi tweeted this latest pic to coincide with the BET Awards, considered one of the biggest nights in hip-hop, where she is in the running for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist gong.
