Feeling weary? A little jaded? Like you need to lie very still, very quietly, for a very long time?
It's not surprising - there were many tired and slightly pink faces sitting around our office after Monday's Laneway festival - all of them looking desperate for a little peace and quiet. With ears still ringing after the successfully super-sized return of the Big Day Out two weeks ago, it's been a busy start to the musical year - a fact compounded by Monday's Laneway maxing out with more fans than ever before on the Wynyard Quarter site.
But promoter Mark Kneebone says a planned Silo Park redevelopment means it most likely can't be held there next year. Along with a proposed expansion to include a second city, the festival's Auckland base may have to move.
I have a suggestion for where it could go: the Auckland Domain. The best thing about this year's Big Day Out was the grass. The festival's move to Western Springs meant you could walk around barefoot, nap under a tree, or roll around shirtless in cut grass, if that's your thing.
I know Laneway's always been held in the inner city and concrete jungles are its thing. But would it be so bad if it found a spacious little grassy knoll of its own?
Put a stage next to the duck pond. Place another over the cricket pitches. Heck, chuck one into the fish pond area - that way you can cool your feet off while rocking out.
And if you go too hard, well, Auckland Hospital is right next door. Sorted.
What's that new TV show or movie like? It's a question I get asked a lot - and my usual reply is: "Not enough robots".
Robots make everything better. Admit it, all your favourite Doctor Who shows are those with Cybermen in them. The best characters in Star Wars are R2D2 and C3-PO. This year's Grammy Awards were livened up by two French dudes in robot helmets.
Now there's Karl Urban's new show, Almost Human. Are you watching? You should be. It's ace - has robot droids all through it. But we need more TV shows and movies about robots. There just aren't enough for a robot lover like myself. Could we get a robot or two into Game of Thrones? Can The Walking Dead have a zombie robot? Could Shoshanna get a little robot pet in Girls?
Okay, those ideas are a little far-fetched, but I'm prepared to throw caution to the wind and get just a little excited about the upcoming Robocop remake. The 1987 original is a classic. The scene where Enforcement Droid Series 209 goes berserk in a boardroom and shoots the place up might be my favourite movie scene ever.
Even if the remake is half as good as the original, it's got to be better than Total Recall's reboot.
Lorde's Grammy performance has sparked plenty of headlines, with her dress, her straightened hair and her creepy black fingernails getting attention. But what seems to still freak people out is her dancing. After the show, Buzzfeed published an article headed: "Lorde's Dancing Continues To Freak People Out".
The story, with eight gifs of Lorde's "exorcism" dance moves, also included the tweet "Lorde's Grammy performance was the trailer of the new Paranormal Activity movie".
But Lorde's had the last laugh, with two Grammy awards on her shelf.
Leave her alone, we say. Get your black fingernails on and get among it. It surely won't be long until Miley ditches twerking and takes up Lorde's witchy twitching.
