NZ Music Awards: The Phoenix Foundation's mixtape (+audio)

In the lead up to this year's Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards we have asked some of the finalists to share their personal New Zealand music mixtapes, including all-time favourites or current picks.

Over the years Wellington band The Phoenix Foundation has toured extensively across Europe, released five studio albums and gained a solid following both in New Zealand and overseas. With a progressive indie-rock vibe, the band have been compared to the likes of The Cure, The Strokes and Radiohead.

The Phoenix Foundation have been nominated in this year's NZ Music Awards for the Mentos Album of the Year, as well as Best Alternative Album for Fandango. They have also won Best Producer for this album.
