Pop star Rihanna has been blasted by Aussie fans for turning up late and slurring her words at her show in Perth.
Rihanna began her Australian tour at Perth Arena on Tuesday night supporting her seventh album, Unapologetic.
She is due to arrive in New Zealand in early October for three shows at Vector Arena.
But the Barbadian singer disappointed some Aussie fans from the start by being 40 minutes late.
Fans on social media claimed the singer had been drunk at the time and security had refused to let her on stage.
"LMFAOOO Rihanna is performing in my city tonight and she's 30 min late and everyone's angry bc she's too drunk to come on to perform A MESS," wrote @sophyonce on Twitter.
"Rihanna and professional don't go together, ever," they added.
"It's 9:41pm in Perth and @rihanna still isn't on stage," @Bergaliciousss tweeted.
"Rihanna is too drunk to go on stage at her Perth concert tonight. Good luck to those seeing her in Sydney next week," wrote @HEREFORMARIAH.
The star's song choices also disappointed fans. It was more than half an hour into the show before the audience heard any of Rihanna's big hits such as Rude Boy, What's My Name? and Umbrella.
"Rihanna if you could sing a couple of songs that people actually know at some point that'd be great," wrote @dmcclung.
"Half an hour in and she's done about 1 song the average person would know," he added.
While diehard fans in the mosh pit loved every minute of the concert, casual fans seemed less enthusiastic.
It's not the first time Rihanna has disappointed fans with lacklustre performances.
Only a day before the Perth gig, fans at the star's Singapore Grand Prix concert on Sunday accused the singer of lip-synching and performing while drunk.
Similar sentiments were expressed after a Rihanna concert in the Belgian city of Antwerp. Rihanna showed up almost two hours late and audience members thought she appeared inebriated.
