The man who played the mighty Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones is set to battle the crowds at Armageddon Expo.
Jason Momoa, famous for his role as Dothraki warlord in the popular series, is will attend the Hamilton and Wellington editions of Armageddon from May 25-26 and June 1-3 respectively.
Armageddon organiser William Geradts said he expected Momoa to be a drawcard for female fantasy fans.
"Game of Thrones is one of the biggest cult shows we've seen in years with awesome folklore, characters and costumes which is the perfect mix for Armageddon.
"Once the public hears that Jason is coming, we're expecting a spike in sales and hoping to see more females than usual," he said.
Momoa played roles on TV series Stargate Atlantis and action flick Bullet to the Head before gaining international attention in Game of Thrones.
Geradts said his performance as the warrior warlord who married Daenerys Targaryen had gained Momoa a global cult following.
He will be joined at the festival by Yeardley Smith, who is the voice of Lisa Simpson, along with Lance Henrickson of Aliens fame, Tony Amendola from Once Upon a Time and, Sylvester McCoy from Doctor Who and The Hobbit.
