Harrison Ford says his return as Han Solo in a new trilogy of Star Wars films is almost a done deal.
The 70-year-old star told reporters he is looking forward to reprising his iconic character in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.
When asked if the "old gang" were getting together, he implied the Star Wars reunion was almost assured.
"I think it's almost true. I'm looking forward to it ... it's not in the bag yet, but I think it's happening."
Original Star Wars director George Lucas has also confirmed Ford's return as Han Solo, alongside Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.
Ford will have to schedule his role around an appearance in Anchorman 2.
Star Trek Into Darkness director JJ Abrams has signed on to direct Star Wars Episode VII.
It will be scripted by Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt.
Legendary villain Darth Vader is also rumoured to be rising from the dead to play a role in the film.
