Berenice Marlohe won't be stripping off in the new Bond movie, insisting nudity is "boring".

The 33-year-old French actress is the latest beauty to play a Bond Girl in the iconic spy franchise.

Although Marlohe has no qualms about filming love scenes with Daniel Craig for Skyfall, she has ruled out flashing too much flesh on the big screen.

"With the Bond movies, you never really see nudity - they're quite chaste, actually. Which is, to me, the best way,'' she told the latest issue of Australian magazine GQ.

"Nowadays you see too many naked women, all the time, everywhere. In video clips. It's so boring!

"You lose this magic and suddenly a woman that is dressed seems way more attractive.''

Marlohe spent years struggling to make it as a movie actress.

The brunette constantly lost out on roles in her home country.

"All the French agents told me, 'No, you don't look like a French actress, this will not work'," she explained.

"Even people who saw me in acting workshops and wanted to introduce me to people; when those people considered my picture, they said, 'No, she will never work in France'.

"I don't know what to say. I was not in the mould."

However, Bond movie bosses quickly realised she would be perfect for the latest instalment of the 007 franchise.

Berenice had no idea what to expect when she landed the role of Severine.

"I kept hearing it all the time - Bond girl, Bond girl, Bond girl - and I thought, 'Oh my God, what do people expect'?

"Do they just expect someone who is pretty? What do they want me to do'?''
