MTV has axed a planned TV show documenting the journey of young people as they lose their virginity.
The casting notice for the show was posted this month, asking for young people who were ready to "take things to the next level".
"Like, are you ready to hand over your V card? Or do you have a friend who is ready to lose it? Young adulthood is a time for exploration. New relationships, fresh experiences and sexual firsts," the casting notice read, Fox News reported.
The proposed show, called My First, would "frankly capture that journey".
"Let MTV come along on your journey ... as you try to lose your virginity!"
The network said it would only be filming "whether or not you accomplish this goal ... but NOT the act itself. Duh".
Those hoping to be on the show had to explain in their application why they had never had sex before, who they want to lose their virginity with, whether they had much luck with the opposite sex in the past, and whether their friends were pressuring them to have sex.
Despite applications not closing until May 28, the casting notice has since been withdrawn.
"This was a preliminary casting notice, and we're not moving forward with a pilot," an MTV spokesperson told FOX411's Pop Tarts column.
MTV is popular with teen audiences, and produces shows such as Jersey Shore, Teen Mom and various dating shows.
