Indie-synth-pop act Owl City - aka singer, songwriter and all-round-talented music man Adam Young - returns to New Zealand for a show at the Auckland Town Hall on August 12.

Best-known for the hit Fireflies, off 2009 debut album Ocean Eyes, Young played here in March last year, and was scheduled to return in November but the tour was called off.

However, with the release of new album, All Things Bright and Beautiful, which is out in June, he's starting his 2011 world tour in New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the Soweto Gospel Choir return to New Zealand for five shows in June, including Auckland's Aotea Centre on June 25.
