In Black Eyed Peas land The Beginning comes after The END (released a mere year-and-a-half ago). Similarly, this new offering is stacked with robot-sounding club anthems like The Time, which bravely samples Time Of My Life from Dirty Dancing. There's nothing intrinsically wrong here, but it falls flat on the heels of their 2009 hits I Gotta Feeling and Boom Boom Pow. Sadly, The Beginning feels like too much too soon.
