The Hunks and Hounds 2015-16 calendar launches this week and includes Shortland Street actors, athletes and businessmen.
The studs are cosied up with dogs and puppies rescued by the volunteer-run organisation.
Other names understood to be in the puppy pages of love are businessman Tenby Powell, Paralympian Cameron Leslie, Step Dave star Jono Kenyon, boxer Shane Cameron and Shortland St stars Pua Magasiva, Jayden Daniels and Sam Bunkall.
Powell has been a major supporter of both calendar and cause since meeting charity cheerleader Amanda Fraser-Jones and hearing the plight of chained dogs.
"Mahatma Gandhi said, 'The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals'," Powell said.
"New Zealand is generally very good but a level of vigilance is required."
Calendar sale proceeds will help support the charity. Go to cdanz.org from June 12 to buy your copy.
