Jose Mourinho threw his Community Shield runners-up medal to a young Arsenal fan in the crowd.
Arsenal had just beaten Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley in the Community Shield when the Chelsea boss threw his medal into the Arsenal fans, claiming his runners-up medal was "for a loser."
It was the first time Arsene Wenger had beaten Mourinho in 13 previous attempts and the pair did not shake hands after the game.
England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's first half goal meant Arsenal won 1-0 to claim their second consecutive Community Shield.
Mourinho said post match: "It's the medal for the loser, it's a good memory for him. Chelsea was the best team, had the more initiative, had good control, good ball possession."
In February last year, Mourinho called Wenger a "specialist in failure" and when the pair came face to face on the touchline in a Premier League game in October, they argued before Wenger shoved Mourinho in front of the dugouts.
Chelsea won the match 2-0 and they were both separated by the fourth official.
