Today's panel features two high-profile farmers from two of the country's driest regions, Doug Avery and Sarah von Dadelszen.
Sarah is based in Central Hawkes Bay where the summer has been harsh. She can't understand why people would oppose a dam under these conditions.
Avery echoes her sentiments. He's in Marlborough where it's so dry you can play cricket on a local lake bed. That was until the district council got involved and put an abatement notice on proceedings.
Avery is not pleased with this result, in fact he says "We've been invaded in this country by dumb, stupid, idiotic Greens". He is also calling for more sensible strategies around combustible fuel buildup in light of the Christchurch fires.
Sarah von Dadelszen agrees but she issues a challenge to Avery. She wants him to "step up" and put his name forward for local government and put a stop to what she sees as politically correct "nonsense gone mad".
