It seems even David and Victoria Beckham aren't immune to the ups and downs of the property market.
The star couple have decided to sell their 200-acre luxury home in the South of France, and have put it on the market for £2.4million - despite former Spice Girl Victoria spending £5 million on extensive renovations.
According to the Daily Mail, the Beckhams rarely stay at the six-bedroom estate in Domaine Saint-Vincent, which they snapped up at auction for £1.5 million in 2003.
If the property sells at its listed price, David and Victoria are set to lose £4 million.
Some have said Posh and Becks are selling the French mansion because they prefer to divide their time between their homes in London and Los Angeles.
However, locals say the mansion is haunted by the ghost of a previous owner.
According to the agent, Knight Frank, the estate offers exceptional views, as well as a high level of privacy.
Alongside the six bedrooms, the mansion boasts three reception rooms, four bathrooms, staff accommodation, a chapel and an infinity pool.
When they aren't in LA, Victoria, David and their four children, Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11 and Harper, five, spend their time in the £31.5m West London home they purchased in 2014.
