A Christchurch shop has been hit a third time in just over a month.
The Night'n Day store in Ferry Rd, in Woolston, once again became a target for thieves in the early hours of this morning.
Three people - their faces and heads completely covered - entered the shop just before 4.30am armed with weapons.
The trio wore hooded jumpers. One was wearing a red Puma branded jumper.
They made off with money and cigarettes.
It is the third time the shop has been targeted in just over a month.
Police said there was one staff member present at the time. They were uninjured, but shocked by the incident.
Christchurch Police are now hunting for those involved and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have information about the trio.
