A number of stolen items including furniture and household electronics have been found following several search warrants executed in the lower and central North Island.
A number of arrests were made following 20 search warrants executed by police in Taranaki, Whanganui and the Manawatu this week.
Police said there were a number of items found in these properties, including furniture and household electronics, which would be returned to owners.
Burglaries had a harmful impact on communities.
They're invasive and could make people feel vulnerable, police said. Officers would like to thank local communities for providing vital information which helped lead to the searches.
Information can be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Police said victims stood a better chance of having recovered stolen goods returned to them if serial numbers from products are lodged on the SNAP website.
All of those arrested would be going through the court system.
