The Rolling Stones have confirmed they will return to Auckland before the end of the year.
The update was posted on the band's website, confirming the rescheduled show will take place "between October 25 and November 22".
The exact date will be released as soon as the scheduling is confirmed.
But given that the Auckland date was at the end of the original tour, it's likely that the band will be playing at Mt Smart Stadium on Saturday November 22.
That's unless the sole New Zealand show is shifted to the beginning of the Australasian dates which would mean the gig would be on the Labour weekend Saturday of October 25.
The Rolling Stones were due to play Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium show on April 5, but the show was cancelled after singer Mick Jagger's fashion designer girlfriend, L'Wren Scott, died on March 17.
The band recently announced they would resume their world tour in Norway in May.
Ticket holders for the Auckland show can hold on to them until further notice, however anyone wanting a refund is asked to contact Ticketmaster.
