The magic of Cirque du Soleil meets the timeless songs of Michael Jackson in The Immortal World Tour, which opens tonight at Auckland's Vector Arena.

Written and directed by Emmy Award winner Jamie King, Immortal keeps the King of Pop's memory alive with a slew of his legendary hits, paired with acrobatic performances that excite the imagination.

Dance is something that defined Michael Jackson's performances and Cirque du Soleil lives up to that legacy, showing off some of Jackson's most iconic moves interwoven with thrilling contemporary dance.

Lights, colours and, most importantly, music, overwhelm and delight the senses. Taking the audience on a journey though Jackson's career, the costumes and sets are creative twist on some of Jackson's music videos.

Featuring nearly 50 acrobats, dancers and musicians from around the world, Cirque du Soleil is renowned for their breathtaking performances and audiences are sure to be in for a treat.

Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil is showing from October 30th till November 3rd, with both matinee and evening shows selling fast.
