Muggle to the end

By Christiana David

A Stone from the Philosopher, a Secret from the Chamber.
A Prisoner from Azkaban and a Triwizard Cup causing danger.

A Secret Order of the Phoenix and a mysterious Half Blood Prince.
Now we're at the Deathly Hallows - it's all down to this.

We've seen earwax-flavoured jellybeans, dragons and flying cars
Talking hats, butterbear and living works of art.

Polyjuice potions, magic spells and black eerie dementors
Death eaters, werewolves and even some centaurs.

Dobby and his sock. Hagrid and his creatures.
Dumbledore the headmaster and all the other teachers.

Platform 9 and three-quarters,
The still and peaceful waters,
That lay around Hogwarts,
The most magic school around.

Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and don't forget Gryffindor!
In thrilling, fast-paced quidditch matches we've watched players soar.

Wingardium Leviosa - the simple flick and swish
Lumos and Expecto Patronum - To have a magic wand I wish!

Ron, Hermione and Harry. We've been with them from the start.
All the adventures they've been through will remain in our hearts.
