Karen Watkins, event manager at the Hamilton Christmas Charitable Trust, has confirmed a great line-up for the opening night of the Hamilton Christmas Tree in Garden Place on Saturday December 2.
The event, which starts at 5pm, launches the city's Christmas season.
"There will be food outlets, some craft stalls, lots of children's free entertainment, characters, stilters, balloon makers, band, choir, dance, performance and of course the winner of our Lightning Luminary competition who will turn on the lights this year," says Karen.
"There is carol singing and a chance to show off your candles in the glow time. Also, lots of spot prizes, so bring your friends.
The tree concert has a new programme and there is a lot more entertainment around Garden Place for everyone to enjoy.
