Meat company Affco will cut its share register by more than half with the compulsory acquisition and sale of holdings of under 1000 shares. Affco's annual report showed that more than 7000 shareholders had between one and 1000 shares for a holding of just over 1.9 million shares, or 0.87 per cent of its more than 225 million share total.
