NZME's new digital news show will be sponsored by global corporate travel management company FCM Travel Solutions Partners.

NZ Herald Focus will launch this month, and FCM will be its exclusive launch sponsor.

It will be broadcast from NZME's new state-of-the-art newsroom several times a day and be hosted by broadcasters Tristram Clayton, Laura McGoldrick, Niva Retimanu and Tony Veitch.

Stories will be generated by the NZME newsroom, home of the New Zealand Herald, Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport. In addition to the latest news headlines, the show will also include opinion, analysis and insights from some of New Zealand's key thought leaders and journalists. Where appropriate, representatives from FCM will be among those featured on the show.

NZME chief commercial officer Laura Maxwell said FCM was an innovator in providing streamlined information to business travellers, and the partnership was a natural fit.

"It's a great way to link the FCM brand with New Zealand's leading news brand, on the NZME video news offering that will be delivered across all devices. It's perfect for the business traveller who is on the go and still wants to stay in the know."

FCM Travel Solutions NZ general manager Andy Jack said the company was committed to being innovative industry leaders and the partnership would help keep existing and prospective customers "in the know".
