The footage shows a staff member telling the high school boys about the store's security staff's concerns.
"These guys are just a bit worried about your presence in our store," the Apple staff member can be heard telling the boys.
"They're just a bit worried you might steal something."
After appearing shocked by the statements, the teenagers are asked to leave despite protesting and asking why they would shoplift.
The following day, the Maribyrnong College students and their principal went back to the store at Highpoint Shopping Centre in pursuit of an apology.
A senior manager met with the boys and apologised, saying they were welcome at the store any time.
