One of Auckland's most upmarket new apartments hits the market tomorrow, although it is not yet built. Tenders open then for a 302sq m penthouse on the planned new 51-unit 132 Halsey, looking towards the Viaduct Basin.
Roger Twose, project director of Willis Bond, which is developing the block, said presales of two-bedroom units were in the $2 million range and three-bedrooms from $2.5 million.
Twose says the penthouse is meticulously designed by Athfield Architects and "luxurious by every measure".
It includes three spacious living areas with balconies to both the east and west. It has a three-bedroom guest wing and private entrance lobby with lift access to four secure car parks.
Overlooking the Viaduct Harbour, 132 Halsey is planned as a centrepiece of Wynyard Quarter, with an exclusive waterfront location and inner-city living, coupled with contemporary design. The penthouse has spectacular views of the cityscape, the Viaduct Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf beyond.
Apartments feature a concierge service, gym facilities, a boutique movie theatre and a business centre.
Tenders for the penthouse close on August 27.
