The owners of a brand new never-been-lived-in house in Auckland's Flat Bush, who bought it less than three weeks ago, have passed on an offer $30,000 higher than what they paid.
One, of the two bidders, at today's auction made a final bid of $1.17 million dollars which was passed in for not meeting the reserve.
Negotiations were set to continue outside of the auction.
The sellers of the property had themselves bought the six-bedroom property for $1.14 million dollars in mid-May.
Construction of the Flat Bush School Road property, which came with double-glazed windows, underfloor bathroom heating, an intercom door camera and central vacuum system, had just been completed in March, before it was listed for sale on April 15.
It also boasted a spacious foyer, a generous open plan living area and kitchen, two ensuites, two bathrooms and space for six cars to park.
