"Thinking outside the box", "blue-sky thinking" and "hit the ground running" top the list of the most-hated management-speak.

A survey of 2000 British office workers has found "let's do some blame-storming" - that's getting together to find a scapegoat, is also detested.

UK correspondent Gavin Grey says "presenteeism" - when someone's at work but not working - was also on the list.

"Three quarters of workers feel that the boss speaks to them in a ridiculous management jargon and meaningless cliched way, and they feel wound up by it," he told Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking.

Gavin Grey says one in four people actively dislike their boss.
