Mark Bryers has been banned from being a director or manager of a company for five years the longest period possible.
The founder and director of the Blue Chip group won't be eligible to run a company until May 2015.
Bryers did not contest the banning order which was served on him this week or a Ministry of Economic Development report that alleged mismanagement including issues of liquidity, solvency, related party risk and statutory compliance.
